The double walled piping system is most widely used systems now days for liquids which are hazardous to environment.

The double walled piping system comprise of two pipe, The pipe which carries the liquid/fluid is called as carrier pipe OR primary pipe & the carrier pipe is encased in bigger size pipe which is called as secondary containment pipe. The primary pipe material depends on the chemical characteristic of liquid it contain generally it may be carbon steel or stainless steel. While secondary/containment piping may be carbon steel, stainless steel or HDPE.

The major advantage of these double walled piping systems is, in case of accidental leakage the fluid cannot escape out, it comes in the secondary pipe which acts as a second layer of protection. These systems can also be associated with Leak Detection System in order to detect the leakage in pipeline. Double Walled Bends

WME-WESTCAL Containment Conduit is designed for piping systems with durable sch 40 Seamless metal conduit. Supplied in 6.0 meter Standard lengths, along with this the standard pipe fitting forms are also available such as 90 Degree or 45 Degree elbow, Tee joints.

 Piping is provided with part numbered spooled out, cut-to-length pieces factory manufactured to field dimensions. All elbows and tees are manufactured at WME-WESTCAL plant. The secondary containment is coated with either epoxy paint or lined with GRP. For above ground applications, the secondary containment has a hot dipped galvanized coating. The containment comes complete with steel sleeves the same thickness as the conduit and a shrink sleeve to make the installation completely watertight the right product for applications of fuels, chemicals, etc.
