Free Fall Fire Valves comes with dead weight, bimetallic strip, string/rope and rope pulley which forms a set. Some features of the free fall fire valve are as under
o Suitable for installation in either horizontal or vertical pipe work.
o Designed to provide a positive, 100% shut off when used as a fuel isolating valve, or opening, when used as a fuel dump valve.
o Standard Free Fall Valve assembly comprises of a valve, lever and weight, together with a fitting kit.
o Standard valves manufactured in either cast or ductile iron to A126 Gr B
o Standard valves are suitable for use with fuel oils at pressures up to 14 bar.
o Valves with screwed connections have BSP parallel threads, whilst flanged valves are available with either BS 4504 PN 16/25 flange drillings or to ANSI standards.
o Size of valves with screwed connections range from 1/2′ (15mm) to 3′ (80mm)
o Size of flanged valves range from 1/2′ (15mm) to 8′ (200mm)
